The comparative electrochemical behavior of self-assembled monolayers of two Schiff's bases, 2-{[(Z)-1-(3-furyl)methylidene]amino}-1-benzenethiol (FMAB) and 2-{[(2-sulfanylphenyl)imino]methyl}phenol (SIMP) on a bare gold electrode (Au FMAB SAM-modified electrode and Au SIMP SAM-modified electrode, respectively), was investigated by means of cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in a 0.1 mol L(-1) KCl solution that contains 5.0 × 10(-3) mol L(-1) [Fe(CN)(6)](3-/4-). The results revealed that the modified electrodes showed an electrocatalytic activity toward the anodic oxidation of dopamine by a marked enhancement in the current response and lower overpotential (60 and 90 mV for the Au FMAB and Au SIMP SAM-modified electrodes, respectively) in phosphate buffer solution at pH 6.0. The Au SIMP SAM-modified electrode was applied successfully to the determination of dopamine in the presence of a high concentration of ascorbic acid. Selective detection was realized in total elimination of ascorbic acid response-a method different from the ones based on the potential separations. The detection limit of dopamine was 5.0 × 10(-8) mol L(-1) in a linear range from 1.0 × 10(-6) to 1.2 × 10(-4) mol L(-1) in the presence of 1.0 × 10(-3) mol L(-1) ascorbic acid. The interference studies also showed that the Au SIMP SAM-modified electrode exhibited good selectivity in the presence of a large excess of uric acid and could be employed for the determination of dopamine in pharmaceutical formulations, plasma samples and human urine with adequate selectivity and precision.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigations on a marine green alga Ulva lactuca led to the isolation of two new compounds (E)-6-heptacosen-5-one (1) and (E)-6-octadecen-5-ol (2), along with four known compounds, (Z)-10-hexacosene (3), docosanoic acid (4), palmitic acid (5), and isofucosterol (6). Compounds 3 and 4 were isolated for the first time from this species. The structures of the compounds were deduced with the help of modern spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

A series of doped CeF(3): RE(3+) (RE(3+): Tb(3+), Eu(3+) and Dy(3+)) nanoparticles were synthesized, with the aim of obtaining a white light emitting composition, by a simple polyol route at 160°C and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and photoluminescence. Uniformly distributed and highly water-dispersible rectangular nanoparticles (length ~15-20 nm, breadth ~5-10 nm) were obtained. The steady state and time resolved luminescence studies confirmed efficient energy transfer from the host to activator ions. Lifetime studies revealed that optimum luminescence is observed for 2.5 mol% Dy(3+) and 7.5 mol% Tb(3+). The energy transfer efficiencies (Ce(3+) to activators) were found to be 89% for CeF(3): Tb(3+) (7.5 mol%) nanoparticles and 60% for CeF(3): Dy(3+) (2.5 mol%) nanoparticles. Different concentrations of Tb(3+), Eu(3+) and Dy(3+) were doped to achieve a white light emitting phosphor for UV-based LEDs (light emitting diodes). Finally CeF(3), triply doped with 2.0 mol%Tb(3+), 4.5 mol% Eu(3+) and 3.5 mol% Dy(3+), was found to have impressive chromaticity co-ordinates, close to broad day light. The colloidal solutions of doped CeF(3) nanoparticles emitted bright green (Tb(3+)), blue (Dy(3+)) and white (triply doped) luminescence upon host excitation. Composites of poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) and poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) were made with CeF(3): 5.0 mol%Tb(3+), CeF(3): 5.0 mol% Dy(3+) and triply doped white light emitting composition. The CeF(3)/PMMA (PVA) nanocomposite films, so obtained, are highly transparent (in the visible spectral range) and exhibit strong photoluminescence upon UV excitation.  相似文献

In this paper,the nonlinear dynamic behavior of a string-beam coupled system subjected to external,parametric and tuned excitations is presented.The governing equations of motion are obtained for the nonlinear transverse vibrations of the string-beam coupled system which are described by a set of ordinary differential equations with two degrees of freedom.The case of 1:1 internal resonance between the modes of the beam and string,and the primary and combined resonance for the beam is considered.The method of multiple scales is utilized to analyze the nonlinear responses of the string-beam coupled system and obtain approximate solutions up to and including the second-order approximations.All resonance cases are extracted and investigated.Stability of the system is studied using frequency response equations and the phase-plane method.Numerical solutions are carried out and the results are presented graphically and discussed.The effects of the different parameters on both response and stability of the system are investigated.The reported results are compared to the available published work.  相似文献

New ranitidine hydrochloride (RaCl)-selective electrodes of the conventional polymer membrane type are described. They are based on incorporation of ranitidine-tetraphenylborate (Ra-TPB) ion-pair or ranitidine-phosphotungstate (RaPT) ion-associate in a poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membrane plasticized with dioctylphthalate (DOP) or dibutylphthalate (DBP). The electrodes are fully characterized in terms of the membrane composition, solution temperature, and pH. The sensors showed fast and stable responses. Nernstian response was found over the concentration range of 2.0 x 10(-5) M to 1.0 x 10(-2) M and 1.0 x 10(-5) M to 1.0 x 10(-2) M in the case of Ra-TPB electrode and over the range of 1.03 x 10(-5) M to 1.00 x 10(-2) M and 1.0 x 10(-5) M to 1.0 x 10(-2) M in the case of Ra-PT electrode for batch and FIA systems, respectively. The electrodes exhibit good selectivity for RaCl with respect to a large number of common ions, sugars, amino acids, and components other than ranitidine hydrochloride of the investigated mixed drugs. The electrodes have been applied to the potentiometric determination of RaCl in pure solutions and in pharmaceutical preparations under batch and flow injection conditions with a lower detection limit of 1.26 x 10(-5) M and 5.62 x 10(-6) M at 25 +/- 1 degrees C. An average recovery of 100.91% and 100.42% with a relative standard deviation of 0.72% and 0.53% has been achieved.  相似文献

The aqueous extract of soy flour is an emulsion/suspension of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. The foulant deposit formed on the surface of polysulfone membranes in the ultrafiltration of this complex extract was investigated from several aspects including thickness, physical structure, chemical analysis and rheological behaviour. SEM studies showed the thickness of the foulant deposit was approximately 0.2 μm for 50000 MWCO membrane and 0.4 μm for 100000 MWCO membrane. The structure of the foulant deposit consisted of lipids in a globular form of 0.2 to 1 μm diameter adhered to, and supported by, a protein-polysaccharide matrix. Rheological measurements were conducted on a sample of the foulant deposit collected from the 100000 MWCO membrane. This foulant deposit exhibited pseudoplastic and viscoelastic properties which totally resisted the surface shear stresses in the flat-plate module. Recovery of the water flux of the fouled membranes was achieved by a four-stage cleaning procedure comprising successive stages of washing with sodium hydroxide, protease detergent, sodium hypochlorite and flushing with water.  相似文献

The O5R Monte Carlo neutron transport Code had been used to calculate the neutron albedo for neutrons reflected from plane and curved concrete shields. The present calculations were performed to investigate the fast-neutron albedo in case of ordinary concrete shield, in order to perform comparative studies with the case of neutron reflection against a flat wall. The calculations were performed for three different neutron source energies of 1 MeV, 5 MeV and 15 MeV and at neutron incident angles of 5°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° and for surfaces with different curvatures (flat, 100, 50, 20 and 5 cm). The results obtained reveal that there will be an appreciable error on using the flat wall albedo value in the case of duct penetration calculations. The error was assumed to be due to the neglection of the curvature effect as well as to the improper choice of the neutron incident angle.  相似文献

A nonlinear dispersion relation is derived and solved for a 1-D electron-ion two-stream (Buneman) instability excited in an isothermal field-free plasma. The major nonlinear mechanism is the qualilinear modification of the background distribution function. We take into consideration the effect of Coulomb collisions which describes the broadening of the Cherenkov interaction of waves with particles. Nonlinear effects seem to lead, in field-free plasma, to the increase in the current velocity and consequently, to the growth of the instability and a rapid turbulent heating of plasma electrons. The methods used here to solve the Vlasov's kinetic equation may also be used to investigate other types of current micro-instabilities in plasmas.  相似文献

The reaction of bis(N-salicylidene)dicarboxylic acid dihydrazides (H4 Lig) with cobalt(II) salts was investigated. Chelates of the types Co(H3 Lig)X ·nH2O, Co2(H2 Lig)X 2, Co3(H3 Lig)2 X 4, Co(H2 Lig) ·nH2O and Co(H3 Lig)2 ·nH2O (X=Cl, Br, I or SCN) were isolated and characterized by their infrared and electronic spectra as well as their magnetic properties.

The photoelectron (PE.) spectra of thirteen methyl-substituted [2.2]paracyclophanes have been recorded and analyzed, to assess the influence of methyl-substitution on their ionization energies. It is shown that this influence is qualitatively and quantitatively the same as for benzenes and other π-systems. Comparison with the previous results obtained for the [2r]cyclophanes (r=2 to 6) strongly suggests that the hyperconjugative model for alkyl-group/π-system interactions is more appropriate than the inductive one.  相似文献
